Dear Fellow Moms:

Please allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is Diane Meehan, and like you, I am the mother of a child with hemiparesis.  I am also a Nurse Practitioner, who is completing her Doctoral Studies in Nursing at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY.

I am interested in interviewing several mothers who live in the NY, NJ, or PA area, to find out what the experience of mothering a three to six year old with hemiparesis is like.

Among some of the criteria are: the child must have never had seizures, or is now seizure free for at least one year, on no meds, have no bleeding problems, and requires 2 to 3 therapies.

If you are willing to participate, you may either e-mail me at dianenp@aol.com or you can call me at 718-317-9259 (collect if necessary). I will share further information with you at that time. Thank You in advance.

Sincerely,

Diane Meehan, RN, MS, Doctoral Candidate & mom to Kayla 3 (with left hemiparesis)
